The world of pre-owned jewellery is a treasure trove just waiting to be discovered. There’s nothing quite like finding a truly unique, one off piece; knowing there isn’t another one like it makes it all the more special. There are a few points to keep in mind when buying pre-loved jewellery, but before we move on to what to consider when shopping, let’s take a moment to answer the question “Why?”.

There are many good reasons to shop pre-owned and vintage jewellery, not least for its lower environmental impact. Many are looking to brands to be accountable when it comes to sustainability, and shoppers in turn are on the hunt for ways to invest in long lasting, high quality items. What could be more sustainable than giving pre-loved jewellery a new lease of life?

The quality of materials and craftsmanship that vintage pieces showcase can also make these items fantastic value for money, those of which that will last for many more years to come. Generally speaking, a pre-owned item will be cheaper than it’s brand new alternative, and when it comes to jewellery this is no different. Fine jewellery also holds its value, and may even become more valuable over time.

Besides the environmental and financial advantages of shopping of this nature, perhaps the most exciting reason is the unique, one off gems that are just waiting to be found. No compromises are made on the beauty, quality or character or these pieces. From vintage designer rings to luxury watches, you just don’t know what you might stumble upon. Many pieces that we sell are rare or one of a kind pieces, so it’s worth checking our site regularly to make sure you don’t miss out.
